It is officially time to hit the road! Welcome to the opening post of the Flower Power Tour—an ambitious nationwide journey to visit all 50 U.S. states and evaluate every official state flower right in its native environment.

The concept behind this trip is simple: every single state across America has designated an official floral emblem that reflects its local geography, history, and natural character. Instead of just reading about these blooms in books, I’m traveling to each state in person to find them in the wild, check out local botanical spots, and document what happens along the way.
